Description
The FitoCavallo NOSPAS herbal blend is an appetite-stimulating, digestion-aiding, colic-reducing veterinary medicinal product that positively affects the intestinal flora in dogs. According to Eastern teachings, all diseases stem from a malfunction in the digestive system.
While this is not entirely accurate, many conditions indeed arise due to the intake of harmful substances or the disruption of digestive functions (e.g., decreased digestive enzyme production, poor nutrient absorption), leading to chronic nutrient deficiencies.
Additionally, various compounds and stress can disrupt the balance of the intestinal flora, resulting in further complications. To maintain intestinal flora balance and improve digestion, it is advisable to address multiple points of intervention: enhancing the secretion of digestive enzymes (e.g., alkaline saliva, acidic gastric juice) with white wormwood, boosting bile secretion with peppermint, and incorporating flavor-enhancing and carminative fennel into the diet.
Ingredients: chamomile flower, chamomile flowering tops, peppermint leaf, white wormwood flowering tops, dandelion root and leaf, aniseed, fennel seed.
How the NOSPAS veterinary medicinal product supports dogs' health:
- Restores the dog's normal appetite.
- Stimulates the secretion of digestive enzymes (saliva, bile, pancreatic juice, gastric juice).
- Positively affects the intestinal flora, contributing to a healthy immune system.
- Indirectly supports allergic disease management through immune system support.
- Acts as a general tonic for weakened bodies.
- Improves nutrient absorption through increased digestive enzyme secretion.
- Supports fluid balance through digestive process enhancement.
- Can be used as an adjunct treatment for gastric and intestinal smooth muscle spasms.
- Useful as part of the aftercare for colic surgeries or colic attacks.
- Contributes to the formation of normal stool consistency in cases of mild constipation and mild, non-infectious diarrhea.
- Strengthens the stomach by enhancing digestive enzyme production during indigestion in dogs.
Weight loss (weight reduction, emaciation) is not a disease but a symptom. It can be caused by infectious disease, pain, poor dental health, oral injuries, stomach ulcers, intestinal inflammation, malabsorption, or decreased digestive enzyme production in old age. Treatment should be tailored to the underlying cause.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For oral use. The animal can receive it mixed with food, preferably in two portions daily. When feeding multiple products simultaneously, it is important that the animal receives the prescribed daily dose of each product. Shake the bag/container before use!
Dosage (daily): 2 x 1g for dogs under 10 kg, 2 x 1.5g for dogs between 10-30 kg, 2 x 2.5g for dogs over 30 kg. The package includes a marked measuring spoon.
Recommended feeding duration: For health maintenance: minimum 1 month, but can be fed continuously if needed. In other cases: as advised by the veterinarian. If not specified otherwise, a minimum of 2 months.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Not to be used in cases of bile duct obstruction, acute hepatitis, active gastric ulcer, or known hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
WARNINGS: For use only as directed, for veterinary purposes. This product does not replace proper veterinary treatment. It is recommended to inform the veterinarian if the animal is consuming herbs. Not suitable for cats. Avoid use during pregnancy, or only use under close veterinary supervision. It is recommended for health maintenance and as a supplement to veterinary treatment.
Animal phytotherapy treatment
Combinations:
The NOSPAS blend can be well combined with liver-protective (HEPA), immune-boosting (IMMUN), and other herbal blends as deemed necessary by the veterinarian. For cold colic, NOSPAS COLD is recommended; for nervous or barometric colic, SPAS-D; and for tonic purposes, the ginseng variant NOSPAS PLUS-D is recommended.
Weight Loss Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- Age-related "senile emaciation": NOSPAS and OLDI products (+ dental treatment)
- Weight loss due to prolonged illness: targeted formula and BLOF PLUS product combination
- Weight loss with prolonged shedding: NOSPAS or NOSPAS PLUS (the latter with ginseng, energy-boosting effect)
- Absorption disorder due to stomach and intestinal inflammation, ulcer: PREVUL and HEPA products
- Low digestive enzyme production (without inflammation!): NOSPAS or HESPAS products
- Nervous, stressed animal losing weight: NOSPAS and STRESS
- Weight loss due to pain: ASPRINT and targeted treatment
- Weight loss due to dental issues: after dental treatment, SINU PLUS product
Recommended feeding duration:
- All products can be used for 3-6 months or until symptoms resolve.
- NOSPAS and HESPAS can be fed without a time limit.
Obesity, Overweight Recommended medicinal product:
- Eats a lot/moves little: NOSPAS and HEPA products
- Insulin-resistant, metabolic syndrome (IR, MS), diabetes: combination of DONNA and HEPA products for maintenance treatment
- Due to hypothyroidism: HIPOTA + HEPA products
- Experience shows that in many cases, it is useful to also feed the STRESS product alongside the above.
Recommended feeding duration:
- All products can be used continuously for 3-6 months or until symptoms resolve.
Vomiting Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- Mild indigestion, due to fatty food, to increase digestive enzyme production: combination of HEPA and NOSPAS products
- Reflux, gastritis, excessive acidity, stomach ulcer: combination of PREVUL, STRESS, and HEPA products
- Motion sickness: combination of STRESS and NOSPAS products
- Bacterial infections (after antibiotics): combination of IMMUN and NOSPAS products
- Viral infection: IMMUN product
- Worm infestation (after deworming): combination of DEVOR, IMMUN, and NOSPAS products
- Vomiting due to foreign body (after surgery): combination of REHA, HEPA, and ASPRINT products
Recommended feeding duration:
- ASPRINT can be fed as long as inflammatory symptoms persist.
- IMMUN can be fed with a time limit: after 1 month, with a 3-4 week break, repeatable if necessary.
- All other products can be used for 3-6 months or until symptoms resolve.
Colic Cramps, Abdominal Discomfort (Prevention) Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- Bloating, gas formation after eating: NOSPAS product (if not enough, then HESPAS)
- Tendency to colic of intestinal origin: NOSPAS product
- Colic due to stool impaction ("blockage"): NOBSTI product
- Post-colic surgery care: combination of NOSPAS, HEPA, and REHA products for initiation, then NOSPAS product for maintenance
- Abdominal cramps due to worm infestation: DEVOR product
- Abdominal cramps due to barometric or stress-related causes, prevention: SPAS-D product or the stronger combination of NOSPAS and STRESS products
- Cold colic: NOSPAS COLD product
- Liver colic (cramps and diarrhea): HESPAS product
- Stomach pain, stomach ulcer: combination of PREVUL and STRESS products
- Sand colic: NOSPAS and psyllium husk
- Urinary cramps: KIDNI product
Recommended feeding duration:
- Treatment is always a veterinary task!
- In case of predisposition, continuous feeding for preventive and maintenance purposes is recommended.
- For disease or post-colic surgery care: feeding for at least 3 months, but continuous feeding is also possible.
- For preventive feeding, it is recommended to start feeding SPAS-D at least 14 days before the onset of the front.
Gastrointestinal Infection Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- Intestinal infection: combination of IMMUN, HEPA, and NOSPAS
- Spoiled or toxic food: combination of NOSPAS and HEPA
- Chronic inflammation, intestinal ulcer, and intestinal infection: IMMUN, PREVUL, and HEPA products, then (after about 3 weeks, when stimulating digestive enzyme production is no longer problematic) combination of PREVUL, HEPA, and NOSPAS products
- Giardia or worm infestation: combination of DEVOR, IMMUN, and HEPA products
- Indigestion, diarrhea due to hard-to-digest foods, oils, fats: combination of HEPA and BLOF products
Recommended feeding duration:
- IMMUN can be fed with a time limit: after 1 month, with a 3-4 week break, repeatable if necessary.
- All other products can be used continuously for 3-6 months or as recommended.
Stomach Ulcer Recommended medicinal product:
- Treatment of reflux, acidity, mild erosion: PREVUL product
- Prevention and maintenance treatment for acidity, predisposition to stomach ulcer: PREVUL product
- Stress ulcer: combination of PREVUL and STRESS products
- Treatment of severe stomach ulcer: combination of PREVUL, STRESS, and HEPA products
Recommended feeding duration:
- For treatment: all products can be used for 3-6 months or until symptoms resolve.
- For maintenance: all products can be fed continuously.
Diarrhea
Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- Occasionally, mild, not requiring veterinary care: symptomatic treatment with DARSTAP, then NOSPAS or HESPAS to support the gut flora.
- Diarrhea due to feed poisoning or mold: HESPAS product.
- Due to intestinal infection: start with a combination of DARSTAP + IMMUN + HEPA, followed by HESPAS for post-treatment.
- Inflammation of the intestines, watery diarrhea (intestinal fluid): combination of ASPRINT, PREVUL, and HEPA products (for about 1-2 months), then NOSPAS for post-treatment.
- Stress-induced diarrhea: combination of NOSPAS and STRESS products.
- Diarrhea due to intestinal worms: after deworming medication, combination of DEVOR, IMMUN, and HEPA products.
- Diarrhea due to indigestible feeds, oils, fats: combination of HEPA and BLOF products.
Recommended feeding duration:
- DARSTAP can be fed with a time limit: until symptoms resolve, but a break is recommended after 5-10 days at the latest.
- IMMUN can be fed with a time limit: repeatable after 1 month with a 3-4 week break if necessary.
- All other products are recommended for 3-6 months or continuously.
Hard Stool, Fecal Impaction
Recommended medicinal product:
- If there is a tendency (stool is hard, but comes out), prolonged feeding of NOSPAS is recommended.
- Mild fecal impaction ("constipation") (2-3 days without stool) can be treated short-term with NOBSTI, then NOSPAS for maintenance.
- In more severe cases or after rectal surgery, NOBSTI is recommended for symptomatic treatment, and simultaneously, a combination of NOSPAS and HEPA products for continuous feeding as a dietary supplement.
Recommended feeding duration:
- NOBSTI can be fed with a time limit as a laxative - discontinue once symptoms resolve, but can be fed for a maximum of 5-10 days at full dose. Repeated with breaks. There is no time limit with a reduced dose (e.g., rectal surgery rehabilitation).
- NOSPAS and HEPA can be fed for 3-6 months or continuously.
Intestinal Worms, Giardia
Recommended medicinal product:
- For maintenance, parasite control (bio-security support) - between deworming treatments: DEVOR product.
- For stubborn (resistant?) infections, against Giardia: combination of DEVOR, HEPA, and IMMUN products.
Recommended feeding duration:
- For parasite control during the entire season (approx. 6 months), DEVOR product can be used.
- In case of stubborn/severe infection, the combination of DEVOR and HEPA products can be fed until symptoms resolve.
- IMMUN product can be fed with a time limit: repeatable after 1 month with a 3-4 week break if necessary.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Leaky Gut Syndrome
Recommended medicinal product, depending on the cause:
- For bacterial or viral infections: combination of IMMUN, NOSPAS, and HEPA products.
- For infections caused by intestinal worms: combination of IMMUN, DEVOR, and HEPA products.
- In case of poisoning: HESPAS product.
- Diarrhea, inflammation of the intestines, leaky gut syndrome: combination of ASPRINT, PREVUL, and HEPA products, then about 1-2 months later PREVUL + HESPAS for post-treatment.
- If stress is present or the condition worsens due to stress, STRESS product can also be fed alongside the above.
Recommended feeding duration:
- IMMUN can be fed with a time limit: repeatable after 1 month with a 3-4 week break if necessary.
- PREVUL: 6-12 months or continuously.
- HEPA and NOSPAS: not in the first 3 weeks, then 3-6 months or continuously.
- IMMUN: repeatable after a 1-month break.
- STRESS, DEVOR: as long as necessary.
- ASPRINT: in a course (not fed in the first 3 weeks in cases of severe irritation, ulcers).
Supporting Gut Flora
Recommended medicinal product:
- After antibiotic therapy: probiotics and NOSPAS or HESPAS product.
- Propensity for watery diarrhea (intestinal fluid secretion): products PREVUL, NOSPAS, and HEPA.
- Post-treatment for imbalance of the gut flora due to intestinal infection, poisoning, spoiled food: HESPAS product.
- Allergic diseases: besides the skin, respiratory-targeted symptomatic treatment, HESPAS is recommended as a supplement in cases of "internal dryness", mild dehydration (e.g., very dry skin, difficult to clear mucus).
- Flora imbalance worsened by stress: combination of HESPAS and STRESS products.
- Recurrent or hard-to-cure infections: combination of HESPAS and IMMUN products.
Recommended feeding duration:
- In case of diseases, symptoms, at least 3 months.
- For preventive, maintenance treatment, HESPAS can be fed in a course or without a time limit.
- IMMUN can be fed with a time limit: repeatable after 1 month with a 3-4 week break if necessary.
- All other products are recommended for 3-6 months or continuously.
Anal Gland Impaction, Inflammation
Recommended medicinal product:
- For prevention and maintenance, combination of BLOF and HEPA products.
- In case of existing inflammation and allergic symptoms, combination of BLOF, EKCE, and HEPA products.
Recommended feeding duration:
- BLOF and HEPA can be fed for 3-6 months or continuously.
- EKCE is recommended until symptoms resolve.
Weather Fronts and Abdominal Cramps
Recommended medicinal product:
- NOSPAS and STRESS products.
- If the above is insufficient, the combination of NOSPAS, HEPA, and STRESS is recommended.
Recommended feeding duration:
- Continuous feeding is recommended for maintenance.
- For post-symptomatic treatment, it can be fed for 3 months or continuously.
- For preventive feeding, it is recommended to start feeding at least 14 days before the arrival of fronts.

Mindig van itthon Nospas, ha lágyabb a széklet vagy gyomorégés van, használjuk, bevált.

Tápváltásnál használtuk a széklet szilárdítására, de azóta is betartjuk, hogy ameddig a kutya szárazon is elfogadja magában, adjuk csökkentett mennyiségben.

Kutyusom 14 éves, aki tavasszal egy műtéten esett át, bőrdaganatot távolítottak el a hasáról. Áttétet nem találtak nála, a terméket további betegségek megelőzése és kiújulás céljából kezdtük használni. Mivel még csak pár hete szedi, hosszútávú tapasztalataim nincsenek, de Zsebi nagyon jókedvű, korához képest mozgékony és nagyon jó egészségnek örvend. Jó az étvágya, a gyógynövény keverékek ízét szereti. Elégedett vagyok a termékkel, köszönöm!

Sokáig gyomorproblémával küzdő majd BARF étrendre áttért kutyámnál használom. Teljesen úgy mint egy fűszerkeveréket, mindkét napi étkezéséhez.
Nagyon sokat segített: nincs hányás, nincs gyomorpuffadás, a kutya is szívesen fogyasztja!
A többi gyógynövénykeverékei mellett ez is pozitívan bizonyított.

Antibiotikum után kezdtük el, mert a probitikum nem volt elég, továbbra is volt hasmenés. Nagyon bevált, mindenkinek ajánlom. A kutya szőre színe is megváltozott, csillog, fényes. Kedve is más, már nem olyan beforduló, érdeklődőbb. Mindez 3-4 hét alatt. Nem hagyjuk abba!

Válogatós Chiwinknek bevált olyannyira hogy már májkrémmel sem kell trükközni hogy megegye. A széklete is jobb előtte egyszer fosott másszor szorulása volt. Mivel lehet folyamatosan etetni így megvettük a lovas zacskót ami árban aztán tényleg nagyon jó. Köszönjük

Az állatorvos bélflórapótlást javasolt az antibiotikum után (amit egy seb miatt kellett adni a kutyánknak) és mellé adtunk gyógynövényt is. Nekünk nagyon bevált és mivel Lora nagyon megszerette a NOSPAST így azóta is adjuk neki minden nap (igaz, a lovas tasakot vesszük, mert Lora 60kg-os). Köszönjük, további jó munkát kívánok!

Nem hittem benne, de a feleségem rábeszélt a gyógynövényekre. A BARF miatt állandóan hasmenése volt a kutyának, már majdnem leálltunk. A NOSPAS keveréket elkezdte enni és már a 2. napon rendeződött a probléma, azóta is egyfolytában eszi. Fantasztikus!

Elöljáróban megjegyzem, hogy sok mozgásszervi problémával küszködő kutyámnak Zsófia tanácsára HEPA ,HOLA KONDOR gyógynövény keveréket adok négy hete. Az eddigi eredmény nagyon meggyőző ezért öt csillagosra értékeltem. A kúrától függetlenül már hosszabb ideje folyamatos hasmenése volt a kutyának ezért NOSPAS terméket is megrendeltem, de sajnos ez nem segített, így nem értékelem a terméket-talán rosszul választottam.
